> After two days of finals in shifty 10- 15 knot breezes the North American Championship ended on a high note around the Yacht club pool. Tian and Louie acquitted themselves well in a highly competitive gold fleet. Jasper just missed podium in Silver and Valentine ran up a string of mishaps to finish well in the penultimate race.
> Team racing is big here with raising of flags and national anthems played for their prize giving. Our boys put up a good fight but didn’t get off the ground in the teams event though one match was a close.
> Lots of trading, goodbye’s speeches, and the arrival of the Bahaman Junkanoo at prize giving made this regatta a memorable one for our sailors. > They take home a bucket load of memories and lessons.
