It’s back — and this year, the Opti Team Cup is getting a Halloween makeover! 👻⛵
Grab your mates, create your team, dress up and get ready for two days of fast, fun and seriously exciting team racing on Lake Pupuke.
Whether you’re here to battle it out on the water, cheer from the shore or show off your best Halloween outfit, OTC 2026 is all about racing, teamwork and having a great time.

It’s easy to enter!
- Get three sailors together and create your team.
- Choose a team name — make it memorable!
- Nominate one of your parents as your Team Manager.
- Register your team on the website.
And don’t worry if you don’t have your own rig…
⛵ RIGS ARE SORTED!
You may not even need to bring your own rig.
The first eight teams to race will be asked to bring their rigs. These rigs will then be shared throughout the event, giving everyone the chance to get out on the water and into the action.
To make things even more special, MBSC and the event sponsors will provide special event sails for the racing.

This year’s OTC has a Halloween flavour, so dress up, get creative and have some fun!
