NZIODA Life Membership Nominations Closing Soon
The deadline for NZIODA Life Membership Nominations is 20 May 2026!
As you know, it’s an incredible honour that is bestowed upon very few club members, so the excitement is building at NZIODA – we are enjoying reading through your nominations.
Life Membership is the highest award available to recognise the exceptional contribution of an individual or individuals to Optimist Sailing in New Zealand. It is therefore only awarded in exceptional circumstances to a recipient for long, well documented and meritorious service.
Just to remind you, nominations must be received by the NZIODA Committee no later than the 20 May 2026. The official announcement will be made around the time of the NZIODA AGM which will be held on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
To nominate someone, head to the website HERE, and review the Criteria and Guidelines for Life Membership and fill in the attached NZIODA Life Member Nomination Form.
