A huge shout out to everyone at New Plymouth Yacht Club for putting together an extremely well run, fun and rewarding 2026 Toyota Optimist National Championship.
Your hospitality, energy, teamwork, good humour and professionalism was very much appreciated by all, and it has been great to see youth sailing thriving and bringing so much joy to so many in your region.
Time for a cup of tea and a bit of a lie down….
