With all three events now being completed for our South Island Traveller Series it is time to announce and congratulate our winners.
Congratulations to Carter Bright (CBYC) who was first overall and first male, Casper Throssall (QCYC) in second place, and William Davis (QCYC) in third place.
Congratulations also go out to Grace Harper (NYC) and Alina Romenenko (NYC) who took out first and second place for the girls. Great to see all three of our current Optimist sailing regions represented on the podium. The prizes for this event will be awarded at the Toyota Optimist Nationals being held at New Plymouth Yacht Club over Easter.
A big thank you to Oborn’s Nautical for their continued support of our South Island sailors as well as Nelson YC, Charteris Bay YC and Queen Charlotte YC for hosting three epic regattas this season and we look forward to growing this event next year.
