A reminder that entries close this Friday 12th December for both the North and South Island clinics to enable us enough time to order Tshirts, and more importantly secure our top NZIODA coaching team to help make these clinics an unforgettable experience for your young sailors.
These clinics provide a great opportunity to get in some epic sailing with our country’s best Opti coaches working together to provide a top level coaching experience. Your sailors are in for an incredible four days of hanging out with sailing mates while having plenty of adventures and learning how to go further and faster this summer.
Main topics covered will be:
- practising how to tune your Opti to get the best out of it without Mum and Dad around
- learning how to sail a beautiful race from start gun to finish
- working on boat handling and speed
- planning, tactics and strategy to prepare you for a regatta
- enjoying spending time in your boat….
While all of the sailors will be coming together at times, our coaches will also be providing differentiated coaching sessions to cater to our different fleets’ needs.
