Registrations for Nationals close on Tuesday 5 April at 9 pm. So, not long left for your young sailor to cement their place in Opti immortality!

You’ll know all about Nationals, of course. But it really is a most prestigious event and to get on the start line is a fantastic achievement in itself.
Nationals takes place over 16-19 April 2022, that’s Easter weekend, at the very lovely Napier Sailing Club.
There’s great competition out on the water, with the ultimate prizes being trophies for the first male and first female sailors in each fleet. There are also many other prizes to sail for!
Aside from the titles and many spot prizes on offer, it’s a fun event where friendships and memories are made.
