Well, what a fantastic National Championship that was! Fabulous weather and racing and, above all, terrific camaraderie and fair play from all concerned. Congratulations to you all!
The NZIODA Committee are pleased to inform you that the National Optimist Championship in 2022 will be run in conjunction with the Starling Association Nationals to be held at Napier Sailing Club.
The provisional placeholder dates are from Saturday 16th to Thursday 21st April 2022 (it’s during the school holidays!!!) – as soon as dates are locked in we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
A huge thank you to Maraetai Sailing Club on being such superb organisers as we welcome Napier Sailing Club as our new National Optimist Championship co-ordinators.
