Japan Friendship Regatta – Update

Great (breezy day today with Tom Rebbeck in a very solid top 5 throughout 4 races with a 2nd in the last with building wind and having 17+ kt gusts by days end.

George Cole-Baker very consistent with 6,7,8’s which was commendable in a solid fleet of around 50 Optimist Advance sailors and ahead of other overseas teams.

A great first up race Grace Still in the Laser 4.7 knocking out a 2nd but then a bit of a mixed bag of mid-fleet results for the further 4 races – hiking hard!

All in all, an awesome day for the New Zealanders competing who are representing to the fullest! The kiwi’s are in a great position going into a light wind final day tomorrow.
