There are plenty of reasons to get your entry in for the Toyota Optimist National Championship which kicks off at the New Plymouth Yacht Club in just over three weeks time.
Not only will you have a great time catching up with old sailing friends from around the country, but you will also have the opportunity to make new friends from New Zealand and beyond while showcasing all of your learning and gains made over another great season sailing Optis. And if all of that practice pays off, and the weather gods play in your favour, you might just bag yourself a historic trophy or NZIODA medal or certificate!!
Please be aware that this year we are only awarding certificates for individual race winners in the Green fleet, however we have reinstated certificates for our winners in a variety of age groups across the Open and White fleets.
