Life After Opti

Yes there is life after Opti and NZIODA are fostering a “where the future of yachting begins” approach. Sailing is a lifelong sport and once the Sailor moves out of Opti there are various options open to them.  We suggest talking to your coach, club and peer group to see what is right for your sailor.

A Junior class is designated as being most suitable for sailors who are under 16 years of age whereas a Youth Class is for those under 19 years of age.
