It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Keith Elliott, Life Member and staunch supporter of the Optimist class.
Many of you will know Keith and his sailone van from attending key events throughout the country during the Optimist season. Along with his wife Kathie, he has given generously to the class and its members over several decades and has had a huge part to play in the history and development of Optimists in New Zealand.
Thank you Keith for your passion and kindness towards our young sailors in a sport that you love.
Our thoughts are with Kathie and family in this difficult time.
