Come join us for the Interislander Regatta at Queen Charlotte Yacht Club 17 to 19 February in the stunning Marlborough Sounds. This regatta is also an NZIODA ranking regatta and is extremely popular with young sailors and their families throughout New Zealand.
Queen Charlotte Yacht Club has always been very supportive of the Optimist Class and is renowned as a great host with outstanding hospitality. It also offers excellent viewing for Green Fleet families where you can watch your young sailor compete from the comfort of the Yacht Club. The Sound offers challenging sailing conditions with its many and varied landforms having an impact on the wind speed and direction. This makes it a great test for young sailors in a unique environment, the perfect way to round out the Traveller series and find our champion of champions!
Entries are open to both Open and Green Fleet sailors. Sailors must be current members of NZIODA to have their results counted towards the Traveller Series.
