Day 2 Regatta Report from Noumea

Another 5 races were completed today in New Caledonia. It isn’t all sunshine though, a few showers of rain came across the course today.

A lighter 12-16kt trade wind today offered the sailors more passing lanes and condensed the fleet creating many opportunities for sailors to move up the scoreboard. The New Zealand sailors put in a big effort to make improvements and the results are pleasing. We are roughly half way through the contest now and the breeze is forecast to be strong over the remaining days.

Both the Girls and Boys Development teams are ready to continue the battle tomorrow!
