Opti Team Cup – Auckland all set for 21-22 November.
What’s on: +120 races, +70 plus competitors for teams of 3, +20 plus teams in Green and Open. The Open fleet will by vying to be Number 1 Team Cup Champion.
Where: Lake Pupuke, Milford, on Auckland’s North Shore
Please note that this event is mandatory for NZ sailors wishing to qualify for an NZIODA travelling team in 2021 so please mark this in your diaries!
Coming from the South Island? NZIODA will provide $100 towards your travelling cost, please contact us at nzoptimist@gmail.com if this applies to you. Please note that exemptions will only be granted for medical reasons.
Sailors travelling arriving from the South Island will not be required to bring a boat or sail and we can arrange accommodation for individual sailors who are travelling alone who need a billet. The 2020 Opti Team Cup – Auckland is organised by Murray’s Bay Sailing Club in conjunction with NZIODA.
